Nycki Pace is a lifelong rock radio junkie who pretty much grew up in a control room, can now be heard on The Rock Of Kansas, mid-days from 9am to 2pm.

Right out of high school, Nycki jumped from an internship at legendary KY 102 in Kansas City to producing mornings on 61 Country, then spent the next three decades bouncing across some of KC’s biggest stations – Q104, E105, 99 7 The Point – before joining the boys on the Johnny Dare Morning Show at 98.9 The Rock, where she became part of the fabric of Kansas City rock.

Her favorite album? Boston’s self- titled debut, Zeppelin II, and the Foo Fighters “But Here We Are.” Favorite band/artist: Foo Fighters / Paul McCartney. Favorite concert? First concert: Rick Springfield at Starlight… even though her Mom took her to Supertramp while still in the womb!

At home, Nycki’s world is ruled by two rescue dogs, Niles and Wookie, her husband Mike, who she jokes she’s been married to for “28,000 years,” and a love of pizza, Mexican and anything spicy!
